Addressing the gender imbalance within an Enterprise Architecture team
We partnered with a global technology firm to address the gender disparity within their senior Enterprise Architecture team. With less than 10% of senior roles occupied by women, and a similarly small percentage across the industry, the firm required a focused strategy to identify, attract, and secure top female talent.
Delivered 2 female Enterprise Architects
Following a workshop with the client, we developed a detailed market map highlighting female technical talent across a targeted group of companies, including a wide range of consultancies and top-tier brands. Collaborating with the UK CTO, we crafted personalized messaging to attract and engage potential candidates. Additionally, we designed a set of questions to gain valuable insights into the client's perception within the female technical architecture community and identify potential barriers.
Our comprehensive market outreach successfully engaged a significant number of the targeted female candidates.
We provided detailed insights into the client's perception within the female technical community, revealing low brand recognition and outdated or incorrect opinions about the company. Based on these findings, we made several recommendations to enhance their brand profile and improve engagement with the female technical community.
As a result, we successfully guided 3 female Enterprise Architects through the offer process, securing 2 hires. The client was impressed with our results and mandated us to repeat the search the following year.
